Visitors

Established in 1870 by venturous pioneers seeking a new future for their families, Logan’s early history is picturesque, filled with stories of adventure.  The first settlers came to the area to hunt buffalo or to seek homes and land under the 1870’s Homestead Act.

Logan, named after John Alexander Logan, a Civil War commander, is nestled amid the gently rolling hills of northwest Kansas.  The small town atmosphere, coupled with the latest in technology, is inviting to both families and businesses.  Home to over 38 businesses, our community offers high-speed data services to its residential and business community.  The role of local government and Logan Economic Development in various community projects shows the commitment of the citizens to helping the community grow.

We invite you to take a “Walking Tour of Historic Logan”
